All-tissue laser YSGG has been one of the best investments
in our clinical practice, Identity+’s armamentarium. After
being in practice for nearly 22 years, we have realized
that clinical practice is not just about the doctor-patient
relationship; but much more.
As passionate dentists, we have always centered our practice
around the statement, “Everything about our dentistry at our dental
center Identity+ is about designing gorgeous smiles.” Whether we’re
handling daily dentistry issues like cosmetic fillings, root canals, dental
implants, or engaging in project work like full- mouth rehabilitation,
dentistry with us is always about SMILES.
We believe that adding value to the dental services for our patients
is of utmost importance and is always a top priority. The addition of
All-tissue laser YSGG by Biolase helped us realize our dreams and
allowed us to create a winning factor in our approach, elevating the
level of dental care for our patients.
Our practice uses YSGG lasers on a daily basis and it’s kept in ON
mode all the time.
We call it a magical technology that helps us achieve 5R’s
namely -Redefine dental treatment, allowing us to go non-surgical
and minimally invasive without a drill and scalpel; Resolve daily
challenges by providing alternative solutions to situations like
immediacy of treatment and chronic lesions management; Results
that are comfortable. Minimal post-operative discomfort puts us and
our practice in a win-win mode along with the patients; Reliability
of treatment, as almost every patient is happy with minimal or no
anesthesia, instilling confidence and lastly, Returns that comes from
doing things which seemed impossible before, hence building trust
and soaring patient referrals.
YSGG LASERS are truly versatile, and in the hands of experienced
clinicians it can be a magical tool. To mention a few, from a whole list
of procedures which we were previously avoiding are, frenectomies,
tongue ties, tongue ties, mucocele removal, soft tissue biopsy, drug
related gingival hyperplasia removal, which we would have not dared
to perform earlier with surgical blades. We have noticed almost nil
relapse after YSGG hyperplastic tissue removal, what more could we
have asked for?
Extraction of infected teeth with immediate implantation is
now done confidently using the photo-acoustic effect of YSGG to
decontaminate implant sites. RCT with YSGG ensures thorough
debridement and disinfection of canals, achieving a 99% success rate.
